Jagriti: Transforming
Slum Education
Jagriti began with a slum school in Jaipur, educating 40 children under a tin shed. By constructing proper classrooms and tirelessly encouraging attendance, we’ve transformed the lives of nearly 350 children, moving them from begging and rag-picking to learning. This success inspired us to replicate our model across other slums, empowering underprivileged children with education and hope for a better future.
Jagriti: Mobile Mortuary
Services (Antim Darshanika)
Jagriti Antim Darshanika offers 24/7 free mobile mortuary services, with 15 mortuaries and 4 vans in Jaipur and Ajmer. The service preserves bodies for weeks, preventing decomposition. Additionally, it has increased eye donation rates, allowing corneas to be collected up to 24 hours post-mortem. This initiative supports families in mourning and promotes life-saving organ donations, making a positive impact during tough times.
